Handprint Art Calendars

Stop! Wait! Don't BUY your calendar this upcoming year.

For those of you moms and dads who live by their calendar (here, here!), here's a fun way of creating your 2010 calendar for free (or very low cost).

You'll need:

1. your children's hands

2. paint and paintbrush (or sponge)

3. markers

4. a printout of each month's calendar from your computer

5. paper

I found this neat calendar idea HERE and thought I'd share. Click on the link and I simply MUST see who participates with us. I absolutely LOVE and ADORE handprint art. I have even put together a binder full of it and love seeing the different ways others come up with ideas.
Also, those who know me well know that I'm the "Queen of Lamination" and will definately laminate this for safe-keeping.

Good luck and happy handprinting!!!

Jamison makes such cute calendars at school every month and I love them. She lives by her calendar already and I think that's funny. This is a cute idea. Happy Saturday.

I love this idea! I think we'll save it for next Christmas for the grandparents!
