Avy's 1st Ballet Class

One benefit of not having my kids in daycare is that we're not constantly rushing around like chickens with our heads cut off, bouncing from activity to activity. As Avy has reached 4 years of age, we thought it might be fun to give her one activity of her very own to do. A friend from church gave us the name of a great ballet company here locally and get this, they're a CHRISTIAN ballet company! No skimpy outifts that I have to say "no" to. No inappropriate music, and the teacher is such a wonderful woman. Not to mention the price is great. There are certain stipulations which I think are great. The girls all have to wear matching (uniform) leotards/tights, etc. They are required to wear clothing over their leotards as they go to and from classes to encourage modesty. Once the girls get older, there are opportunities to help in the community, go on missions trips, etc. I was praying about an activity for Avonlea for awhile and I'm so grateful for this. She's had one lesson thus far and loved it! Thanks Dana!!!
