This is what our kids looked like 80% of the time we were there. A lady was offering stickers and our kids took their hands off their ears only briefly to accept it. Let's just say that it was LOUD. When kids took turns sitting in the trucks, they all were honking the horns.
I've also been busy cleaning out some closets, reorganizing, lesson-planning, making food (I've been trying some new recipes...some turned out great and some not-so-great...ahh, live and learn) and just enjoying my kids. The garden has kept me the busiest. That and taking care of our chicks. Both the seedlings and chicks need a lot of care right now, but as they all age, they won't be as needy.
Here are our 'babies'. They are adorable aren't they? :) They'll stay contained in this box until they start getting in their large feathers. Right now, we take them outside to run around and stretch their wings twice a day. We tried putting them in with the older hens and the ladies weren't too happy about new intruders. It's going to take time, but they will all eventually have to get along. Four more months = fresh eggs!!
