...going to watch Sarah Palin's Alaska show tonight @ 9:00, amazed at my husband's patience level at putting up the outside Christmas lights, thankful for a truly blessed Thanksgiving with family, loved the sermon at church this morning on The Mystery of Christmas (talking about how Christ's birth was prophesied), went for my first black Friday shopping trip at 4:45 a.m. with my husband (swore I'd never give in to the material day, but we did save a bunch of money on a few gifts and it was an experience. I'll leave it at that.), wondering why I only collected 4 eggs today (weather? loss of Jack?), excited to talk to friends about hopes and dreams for the future, but freightened at all the stipulations our government is continuing to put on food (in the future, all livestock will be required to have computer chips in them...every chicken...every cow...etc.), praying that God would show us what HE wants us to do, glad for the break in homeschooling this past week, excited for friends at church who are about to have babies, wondering how some "nutritionists" get degrees and how they're so robotically educated to pump out answers the American Academy of Pediatrics says is fact, wondering why people don't do the research for themselves, glad my family is over the lovely stomach bug that hit our house over Thanksgiving, trying to get motivated to get organized for Christmas cards/letters, homemade gifts, etc., amazed that we were able to take all three kids to see a movie the other night (Norah didn't make it all the way through and so she and Daddy went window shoe shopping...if you know Norah, you know she ADORES shoes), sad (but not shocked) that the movie we saw had some things we didn't approve of such as a daughter sassing her mother and some light violence (sigh), trying to also finish up this book...
...glad to have given advice on homeschooling this week, glad to have given advice today on how to get a garden started (don't we all just LOVE sharing what we're passionate about?!!), sad that our garden has basically been demolished by chickens (every year, we learn something new!), excited to get soil ready (and a lock for our garden gate!!!) for spring garden, thankful for an amazing family, getting tired, going to snuggle with hubby and read.
Goodnight all and God bless!
