Not sure how many of you take trips or vacations, but we love to! After a few trips and having multiple children, I decided that I NEEDED to make a list of what we need to take with us/pack. There are spontaneous times when we pick up and go somewhere for awhile and at those times (when I don't check off my list), we ALWAYS leave something we kick ourselves later for not packing. I also don't pack everything on this list every time we go somewhere. This is the master list and I choose what we really need depending on what type of family outing/vacation we're going on. I do keep a seperate camping list as we need seperate things for a trip like that.
I still have yet to figure out an easier way to do this where blogger friends can just click on something to download it instead of copying and pasting. Anyone know how to do this?

Okay, okay...a little long, I know. Like I said, this is the master list and I don't pack everything everytime we go somewhere. I keep my list in my Home Management Binder under the "Lists" section and pull it out whenever we're packing.

I created a packing list years ago that I keep on my computer to print off for trips. It's not nearly as detailed as yours, but I know it's easier to pack for 2 adults than 2 adults and 3 kids!
This is the master list and I choose what we really need depending on what type of family outing/vacation we're going on. ....
I think I might make good use of the list one day too =)
I appreciate this. I just found your blog via Candy's over at Keeping The Home and must say I plan to read more of it later. I happen to be at my MIL's and will have to write down your URL so that I can check later. I also wanted to say that your master list is great as every so often my husband has to go away on business for 2 weeks at a time and we go with him but I've not done one of these before. Thank you, as you saved me some work later. Blessings to you and your family.
