So far, today has been a bit chaotic, but through the chaos, God reminds me how much I've been blessed. :) It's Friday, so I'm excited about our two days ahead of being together as a family. We've entertained the thought of doing a MAJOR garage clean out. It needs it and I'm in a "tossing" mood. I don't actually toss most things. I do donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army. We've actually thought about having a garage sale, but I need a week or two to plan for that. Avonlea wants to sell lemonade and I need to make a few signs to put out by the road. I've also been rearranging the kids' rooms this week. We've been doing some deep cleaning, fixing some things (fan, Lincoln's tree that I made him came down) and I bought four rolling bins that can fit under their beds which hold games, puzzles and some odds and ends. With moving items to the rolling bins, we were able to get rid of an entire shelf in Avonlea's room. I've been snapping some photos and I'll share when the rooms are finalized. I'm a lean, mean organizing queen!
Next on the list of blogging, I've been reading the book The Sane Woman's Guide to Raising a Large Family for the last two weeks and I'm just itching to share some fun tips and info. from the author. Of coarse, I won't share everything. You'll just have to go buy the book for yourself. I got a deal on Amazon. The book is geared for families of three or more, but the tips in the book can be used for many family sizes and even those who are in the beginning stages of planning a family.
Have a lovely weekend everyone!

Look at you! Once the weather breaks we are doing a major garage cleaning. It needs some major organization. Ooh, the bin idea for the games sounds great...I should try that. Thanks and have fun.
