A/C Update

Thanks for all the encouraging words through e-mail, phone and comments. We did get an answer to prayer (for now) that our air conditioning unit repairs were only $100.00. I say only because we thought there was no where to turn but to replace the whole unit. We will have to replace our unit soon, but at least the new piping (that was what was causing all our damage) will hold for awhile until we can replace it. Now the job will be to get rid of pesky squirrels and possibly rats (eek!) in our attic. We've received some good tips though, so you can guess what we'll be doing this weekend, covering and patching holes along our sofets, placing traps in the attic and whatever else we can do to deter these varmits away. They're so cute when you see them (I'm talking about the squirrels, nothing cute about rats!) climbing trees or snatching a peanut from your hand at the park, but now I have a new perspective on these furry creatures and that is that I don't like them!

Anyway, Rob and I had an interesting weekend. He was able to squeeze in a little well-deserved golf at a really nice golfing resort (Innisbrook) for free (thanks mom and dad!). We were exhausted after Friday and Saturday, but didn't want to just sit around the house all day on Sunday so we headed out to yet another adventure to Busch Gardens. Stayed all afternoon and came home to some unpacking and laundry. The kids and I stayed home all morning and I got all the unpacking and almost all the laundry washed, dryed and put away. I've got some new blog ideas I can't wait to post, but I have the following things to do first:

- fold, put away remaining laundry
- clean off dining room table (I was scrapbooking)
- sweep and mop floors (I usually do this on Thursdays, but it got skipped last week)
- vacuum floors (Again, floors are usually on Thursdays, but got skipped)
- make some phone calls
- book a babysitter
- doctor appointment
- get to the store for some dogfood, green tablecloths and bread
- prep dinner for tonight
- bake St. Patrick's Day cookies
- prep dinner for tomorrow night (a traditional Irish meal I make every year)
- bake bread
- try a homemade yogurt recipe I saw on a fellow blogger's blog

I think that's it. What would I do without my daily planner?!!! =)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and got time to spend with your significant other/family (heart). Happy Monday!
