Happy Birthday Avonlea!

Today was Avonlea's birthday party and it was definately a hit. The kids had fun, the adults were happy campers after watching the Bucs game (we won!) and we had no major catastrophies (with the exception of the cake!). Avonlea received so many thoughtful hugs, kisses and gifts. We are such a blessed family to have such great family and friends. You are loved and appreciated!!! Here are some pictures of today...

Rocket cake...I attempted the fondant, but needless to say, it was a royal disaster. It would've worked out just fine on a flat cake, but Rocket had too many curves and it just didn't work right. Hence, I resorted to frosting. It did taste yummy!!

One, happy birthday girl!

Quincy, Rocket and June appeared at Avy's party today (thanks to Kinko's!)

So did Annie

...and Leo!

All of the kids :)

Kelli, what a cute party. Caleb had an Einsteins party for his first birthday. The cake is too cute. I'm glad she had a great time. Jamison's birthday was yesterday and we had her party on Saturday, Princess of course.

I'm impressed with your cake making skills. I like icing more than fondant, so I wouldn't have been disappointed. The icing-ed cake still looks great!

Your cake is adorable! My oldest son is getting ready to turn five and I plan to make his cake. I have used fondant only once and I am going to attempt it again. I hope I can get it to turn out correctly!!

We actually live in Indiana, but close! "There's more than corn in Indiana" (a slogan from an amusement park in Indiana) But really there isn't a whole lot more than corn, well maybe soybeans!!
