It's Been a Whirlwind!
 (Some trees in our backyard)

So, it's been a whirlwind in the Bates household lately, but we're back in the races and on schedule again. We've been property hunting, fighting off some sick germies (I had it the worst for some reason) and reevaluating school scheduling and our approach to education in our home. We've been to OB visits, pediatrician visits, camping trips, enjoying beautiful sunny days of 75 degrees, beach combing for shells and identification, baby shopping (just a few odds and ends we had given away), having a shower gutted and re-tiled, re-assigning children's bedrooms, harvesting from our garden, missing "Molly" (our cow) and chasing chickens around the neighborhood (as they've very good at getting out). I think our neighbors are getting tired of our animals escaping...eek! Do we need to be in the country or what? Ha. Good thing we have such sweet neighbors.

I'm going to finish the series on Almost Amish. Can't wait to catch up with you all!

That little guy is absolutely adorable.

I don't know if you have time to stop by my blog, but I would rather chase chickens than what I had to do yesterday. A hawk got to one of our hens and I had to shoot it. There was no way it would have survived.

I do hope you get to the country soon. How is your Molly doing?
