Pregnancy at 34 weeks

"Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from Him." Psalm 127:3

Yes, here's me in "all my glory" at 34 weeks of pregnancy. Just 4 more weeks to go (as they'll take him a week early via cesarian section). I have officially reached the stage of:

picking things up with my toes (ahh, yes.),

needing the a/c on all day at 72 degrees,

being addicted to a fun, little trinket called my "sleeping wedge",

(speaking of sleep)...little sleep,

low energy,

unable to wear tie shoes,

limited lifting and holding Norah (although she's doing okay with this),

random fans blowing throughout the house,

constant cravings,

yearning so badly to meet and hold this little one and trying hard to have patience,

hospital bag packed,

hospital paperwork filled out and in packed bag,

down to OB appointments every week now (the kids love listening to his heartbeat, helping measure my tummy and my doctor is amazing with the kids when they join me for appointments),

constant thankfulness to our Creator for His amazing miracles and the gift of having children. Not a day goes by that I don't thank Jesus for my little blessings. I can't imagine our family without one of them...even Isaac whom we have yet to meet face to face.

"For you created my inmost being;

you knit me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

your works are wonderful,

I know that full well.

My frame was not hidden from you

when I was made in the secret place.

When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

your eyes saw my unformed body.

All the days ordained for me

were written in your book before one of them came to be."

Psalm 139:13-16

You look beautiful. If you don't mind me asking, why a C-section?

I just noticed that it is Lincoln's birthday. Happy Birthday!

And, it looks like Norah is almost 2, so happy birthday to her, too.
