Again, a post with no pictures. Camera = MIA (still). Umph. I know that I have a lot of bags that I toss stuff around from and to. I'll have to do some more searching.
Monday Outing:
Took the kiddos to IKEA today. They love playing in the play area. Norah and I looked around, bought some soap dishes for $1.99 (looked at Target the other day and they were $10.00!) as well as some washcloths and three air-tight containers for beans (garbanzos, black and lentils) for the kitchen.
This Weekend:
This weekend, let me just say that my husband went all out. We finished our chicken hotel, finished the gates and he even built me another garden planter for tomatoes. I've been needing to expand the garden with so much produce growing now, but each planter can get pricy. So, I got less wood this time and pushed it up against the fence (to serve as the other side so I didn't have to buy wood for that side). I also bought wood that wasn't pressure treated. The chemicals that they use for pressure treated wood are strong and can seep into your crops. We definately had an exciting weekend with the chicks being added to our family, the outdoor work we accomplished and just being outdoors in the sunshine. It's funny. Rob and I have always talked about moving up north someday and buying land. However, I'm a little hesitant due to the fact that I LOVE my sunshine. I lived in Illinois for 2 years when going to college and I had some serious 'winter blues'.
Seeds:
Called my company that I ordered my seeds from and they haven't even shipped out yet!!! They said they had my tomato seeds on back order, so they should be here by Friday. I certainly hope so. It's going to be February before these things get planted. If I wait too much longer, it won't be worth planting them. It's going to get hot QUICK and things tent to bolt or taste bitter if it's too hot. Common' seeds. Hurry up!
Norah:
Norah is now 7 months old. She's still not crawling, but I'm in no rush for that to happen. She scoots if she wants something bad enough, but no major movement. It's funny how when it's your first baby, you want them to do everything 'up to par'. You want them to sit up when the textbook says they should. You're constantly watching their every move to make sure they're doing what they're 'supposed to be' doing. Then, when you get to #3 baby, you're more layed back.
Well, I'm about to attempt some serious cleaning. We love having weekends full of outdoor activities and projects, however the house tends to suffer from it. I have some major laundry waiting for me as well as some odds and ends to pick up around here.
Happy Monday!

Great update post. That Rob really did put in some work this weekend. I hope your seeds come soon...I can't believe they haven't shipped yet! My mom and I decided to do tomatoes, peppers and cucumber. We look around the yard on Saturday because it was a whopping 50 degrees!
I can't believe Norah is 7 months old!! I remember the day you were to deliver and I kept checking your blog, facebook and my email for an update. How time flies!
I definitely agree about being more laid back with the more kids you have. Although, I was never too worried about mobility. I didn't like having to wonder where the baby was! I liked Kayleigh being right where I left her (and the same for Brian now)!!! :)
