We took a visit to the doctor today to get Norah reweighed. She's gained 7 ozs. since our last visit and is almost back to her birth weight (8 lbs., 13 ozs.). She had a little bit of her belly button cord left and the pediatrician got rid of that for her as well as checked her refluxes, eyes, ears, nose and mouth. No shots of coarse. However, Lincoln did have his 2-year-old well check-up and received three shots. He was a trooper though. I was so glad to have Rob with me as he held our little linebacker down and after a few tears and "ouchies!", he completely forgot about it and followed his big sister to find a lollipop. Needless to say, he checked out well and we weren't surprised to find out that his height and weight were off the charts, perportionate though which is what they look at. Just shows how big he is! Sweet boy.
Rob and I are getting the most sleep we've got between Norah, Lincoln and Avonlea. Norah usually takes a good 4-5 hour sleep during the night, which for a 1-week-old, I think is good. Lincoln and Avonlea were 2-hour-feed babies. Yikes. We did have a bit of a fussy night last night, but hopefully it was just a fluke of a night.
Here's to a good night's rest!!!! =)
