More on Mother's Day and LAUNDRY GALORE!

My grandmother, me, Avonlea and my mother (plus baby #3). My great-grandmother is still living and currently in Iowa. She wasn't able to be here today though. Five generations. What a blessing!

From left to right, Grandpa, Aunt Patty, Nate (my brother) and my mom. Hammin' it up in the kitchen!

These are just a few pics from my parents' house. We had a gourmet feast of yummy, smoked chicken (awesome Dad!), corn on the cob, potato salad, regular salad, fruit, shrimp, an incredible spinach dip made by Aunt Patty and my mom's homemade carrot cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. I have to give it up for mom because she's quite the cook and even though it was Mother's Day, she was still in the kitchen cooking and cleaning away. I love you Mom!

I will say that I did take the weekend off from cleaning. My awesome husband not only bought me flowers, made me a card, made me breakfast, changed all the diapers and treated me to lunch, but he also helped clean the house, and I'm not just talking doing a load of dishes. He did the works (yes, bathrooms too...without me asking!). However, I do have the pleasure of catching up on the laundry and so far, this is my pile today. Not to mention I have one still drying in the dryer, one in the washer and two loads in waiting. I'm getting a little scared at what our laundry is going to be when this new baby comes!!! I'm going to be consumed by it. Help! I do keep a tight laundry schedule, but with extra puppy laundry and needing to wash our bedding this week, I'm toast my friends. I dare any of you to beat my pile going today.

DARE: Please do share your laundry piles with me so I don't feel alone. Common ladies, let's see 'em!!!
