Picking Blueberries

Beautiful blueberries!

"So many to choose from Mom!"
Avonlea and her best friend picking away. They learned to pick the plump, blue ones. Those were the sweetest.
Our "loot" about 1/2 way through picking.
The kids and I, along with another homeschooling family, decided to go pick blueberries at an organic blueberry farm about 40 minutes from our house. It was a lot of fun and needless to say, we'll be eating blueberries for awhile. =)
Lincoln learned to pick the blue berries and not the green ones (learning his colors) today. He mostly ate along the way, silly boy. We did pay the man extra for what we had eaten as we picked. What a fun day!

I'm thinking of all the blueberry muffins you can make.

Oh, speaking of homeschooling, there's a blog that I read (it's under the multiples section on my blog...4 little men) and she's inquiring about homeschooling. Just thought I'd let you know if you want to chime in.

Gosh... I need the info . on this farm. My kids would love it and blueberries are their favorite. Luke could eat an entire store size container in one sitting....of course I don't buy them much ,because they are so pricey.
