One of my sweet friends, Lisa, threw me a baby shower last weekend and what a treat it was. Having a shower with your first baby is always exciting and having one for the opposite gender is always fun too. I guess I just didn't expect a shower with baby #3 and having one of each child. I was so stoked! We played some fun games, I saw friends and family I hadn't seen in forever and everyone was so sweet to shower me with gifts. It's funny, when Lisa asked me to register for gifts, my initial thought was "for what?". =) We've been blessed to get most items with our other two children (clothing, furniture, toys, burp cloths, etc.), so I got to register for some more fun things and other necessities (diapers, wipes, baby wash/shampoo, breastfeeding supplies, etc.). I also registered for an infant sling to carry the baby in hands-free and I got TWO of them! What blessings. Thanks to all.
