Explaining Myself a Little Better...

Due to my last blog entry, I felt that I needed to explain myself better so here goes…

I am not against Obama, in fact, I think he's got some interesting ideas regarding balancing the budget and if he can follow through with these plans, great. If not, there are going to be a whole bunch of unhappy Americans. I'm glad Obama wants to take initiative to go "line by line" and dissect our Government’s budget. I think it’s about time someone did! I'm just frustrated because it seems all Obama and Biden can say is “Change”… change what??? Change how we treat unborn children? Change how we keep pushing God out of our schools and yet stare at the TV screen in unbelief when there is another school shooting? As a believer in Christ, I think these are just a few of the “Changes” America needs. I would gladly tell Mr. Obama he could keep the tax break he’s going to give me & my family if he can make these changes a reality. Please check out this website regarding abortion statstics:

I started reading the statistics at the top, but by the time I scrolled down to the bottom, I got sick to my stomach and began crying. I do believe that God created us and knew us from the beginning of conception.
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:13-16).
People (women especially) need to take responsibility for their sexual actions (there's so much free birth control out there, yet they fail to take advantage of it!!!). Only 1% of the population that undergoes abortion is due to rape or incest. See information here:

Also, I'm rather concerned with Obama's former pastor of 20+ years (Jeremiah Wright). I don’t question his enthusiasm or passion and there is no doubt that America has made mistakes in the past (slavery, treatment of Japanese Americans during WWII, etc.) but last time I checked "God Damn America" was not in the Bible as Pastor Wright proclaimed in a sermon to his congregation. The bombings of Nagasaki & Hiroshima were terrible… but they ended the War. Did Pastor Right forget that America did not enter WWII until Japan bombed Pearl Harbor? I am also tired of hearing about how America has become such a terrible place these past 8 years. This is not highschool… no one is running for prom queen… it’s not a popularity contest.

I can’t imagine the stress Michelle Obama must be feeling during this campaign, but to say “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country? If it was a slip of the tounge… ok, admit you got caught up in the moment and set the record straight. But what if that’s really true??? Was she not proud to see the fireman raise the American flag from the rubble a few hours after 911?

Our American history is FULL of amazing stories of courage and bravery, strength and fearless acts by our own soldiers. I think A LOT of Americans took offence at this, including myself.

My biggest question for Obama is his relationship with former terrorist William Ayers. Why hasn’t the media questioned this relationship? As a civilian, I shouldn’t have to worry that the President of the United States might have connections with a terrorist! You can check out that information here:

I hope I didn’t offend any readers, but I just wanted to explain myself a little better. :)

I think you have very valid questions and ask them in a respectful manner! Thanks for sharing the articles, I need to read them. I have an issue with the whole Rev. Wright thing too. I need to pray about that.
